Hello and WELCOME to my classroom page! I knew I wanted to be a school teacher the moment I entered school. I grew up in a small town named Saginaw, Texas (which is not so small it used to have a stop light, Taco Casa, Sonic, 1 High School, 1 Middle School and 5 Elementary Schools. Now they have 5 High Schools and many more Middle and Elementary Schools) 10 minutes from Fort Worth Texas and moved to New Braunfels Texas (yes where Schlitterbahn is and yes I was a lifeguard there and I also taught swimming lesson at their pool) the summer before my freshman year of High School. Can you guess what their mascot is... A UNICORN! How CRAZY is that?!! I continued my education at The University of Texas at San Antonio where I received my Bachelor’s Degree! GO ROADRUNNERS! I I have been teaching for many years now and I really enjoy Third Grade. I started my teaching career in West Texas and now I have found my way to Jarrell ISD. This will be my third year here in Jarrell ISD and my second year at Igo Elementary! Go COUGARS! I have taught 1st grade, Special Ed., Third Grade and Fifth Grade. I have two kids my oldest is named Libby who is 12 and in 7th grade at Jarrell Middle School and Kirby my youngest who will be 5 in August and will be in Kindergarten at Igo Elementary! My Husband’s name is Joe Braden who has just finished his degree! You will hear many stories about my crew through the year. My classroom philosophy is this.. In our classroom we have fun, we learn and we are kind. I can't wait to work with your student. Meet my crew...
